At Reading Orthodontics, we live, work, and play in our local community, so we also support it through volunteerism, creating educational opportunities, and providing financial support where we can.
School Partnerships
At Reading Orthodontics, we believe in connecting with our local schools and students. That’s why we travel to local schools every year to teach children about their dental health. Through fun and engaging presentations, we remind children of the importance of keeping their smile healthy and give them the information they need to do it themselves. By showing them the best way to brush and floss, demonstrating how to make healthy nutritional decisions, and encouraging great habits, we help children in our community develop healthy smiles that can last a lifetime.
As part of our commitment to local schools and our community’s children, we are always interested in becoming more involved with local schools’ PTA organizations. If your school would like to partner with us, please email our office.
To round out our participation in local educational organizations and to help ensure our community’s kids have access to a brighter future through higher education, Reading Orthodontics also donates to the Reading Scholarship fund every year.
Sports Sponsorships
Children that participate in sports learn valuable life skills while having fun at the same time. Athletics teaches teamwork and responsibility, improves physical and mental health, and presents new challenges that help children build confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of accomplishment.
Reading Orthodontics is pleased to sponsor many local sports teams in Reading, North Reading, Stoneham, and other nearby towns. It’s our belief that encouraging children to have fun while staying healthy pays off in the long run.
In the Community
Dr. Spyrou and our team feel that it is essential to be an integral part of supporting the local business community, too. That’s why we are active members of the Reading/North Reading Chamber of Commerce. As members, we contribute to and participate in various projects that improve our community and make life better for our friends and neighbors. By continuing to participate in this dynamic organization, we know we are helping to build engagement among businesses and community residents, contributing to the long-term economic growth of our area, and helping to fund fun local traditions such as the Annual Holiday Lights Festivals.
